About Us About Us

Founded in November 2017, Jieya Godo-Gaisha has a Taiwanese R & D team, which is committed to delicious food, and the integration of the tea culture in Taiwan with the rich and high-quality agricultural specialties of Japan. After continuous research, development and adjustment, KUMAMOTO MILK TEA was officially launched in 2018.

Since ancient times, diet has reflected the persistent spirit and life attitude embodied in the culture. The Taiwanese food is rich and diversified, and makes people feel comfortable, while the Japanese food is characterized by rigorous professionalism and perfect details. The two seem to conflict with each other, but they have one thing in common, that is, to pass on satisfaction and happiness through food! The 2016 Kumamoto earthquake made the founder of Jieya, an island resident living in the earthquake zone, understand the possible impacts of the earthquake on cities or residents, and think about the way to combine different catering cultures with local products through the folk to create more tasty foods that warm the heart. Under this context,  KUMAMOTO MILK TEA, a blend of Taiwan tea and Kumamoto milk, was invented at the right moment.

In order to achieve the optimum integration of high-quality ingredients in Taiwan and Japan, the founder and a group of R&D teammates with the same idea, attach great importance to every production process, from the selection of ingredients to the inspection of food safety, with a view to figuring out the perfect ratio and to concentrating the essence of Taiwan tea culture into a cup of beverage in the palm. With painstaking efforts, the KUMAMOTO MILK TEA has been admired and favored by many people since its establishment, which strengthened the founder's idea of sharing Taiwan's catering culture with the world.

In 2019, in addition to the introduction of new beverages, we have launched classic Taiwanese snacks in specific stores, including Taiwanese chicken steaks that are as big as the face, and the famous braised pork rice, chicken rice, Yangchun noodles, etc. Through these meals, we hope to generate more silent communication and get close to each other without the need of any words.
